Registration - Precompetitive Groups

Welcome to the 2007 - 2008 season!

It's time to register for the Spring Session of our Swim School Program.
All classes start the week of Apr 7

Current members will have received an email or printed copy of the re-registration form.
Deadline for re-registration is Mar 7th in order to guarantee your spot.

Registration for new members will be accepted after Mar 7th

Registration forms for new members and the PIPEDA consent form can be placed in the drop-off boxes (grey with GMAC on front of box) at Victor Davis, Centennial, or University of Guelph pools.

Please email Kathy Fagan so that the forms can be collected immediately,
ensuring that they get into the class requested.

Our swim season is divided into three (Fall, Winter, Spring) 10 week sessions. Our Fall Session starts the week of Sept 17, Winter Session (9 weeks) starts the week of Jan 7 (no lessons during March Break), and Spring session starts the week of April 7. All classes are cancelled on statutory holidays and are made up at the end of the session.

Please note that families with children in Devo, Jr Swim Fast or Sr Pre-Competitive are required to assist with 4 meet sessions per swimming session. Each missed session costs $40. Be sure to complete your meet session check off sheet.

Jr Swim Fast

This is our transition program from our Marlin 2 program to our competitive program. Swimmers 9-11 yrs of age train 2 or 3x per week and learn how to turn their Swim School skills into fast and efficient training and racing skills. Swimmers are offered opportunity to compete at Novice Meets throughout the session. Cost: 3X per week - $326; 2X per week - $260

Tues 4:30-6:00 at the Victor Davis pool
Thurs 4:00-5:30 at the Centennial pool
Fri 5:30-7:00 at the Victor Davis pool

Sr Pre-competitive

This program is from swimmers 11 yrs and older who have completed the swim school program but who are not ready for our competitive program. Swimmers are offered opportunity to compete at Novice meets throughout the session. Cost: 3X per week - $326; 2X per week - $260

Mon 4:30-6:00 at the Centennial pool
Thurs 6:30-8:00 at the Centennial pool
Fri 4:00-5:30 at the Victor Davis pool

Devo

This level is introduced for young swimmers wishing to bridge the gap between swim school and competitive swimming. Swimmers in this level are recruited because of family interest, talent, or coach recommendation. They continue to progress through our swim school curriculum at an advanced pace with more time commitment from them and their families to the club. More competition opportunities are available and continuity of coaching is emphasized more. If your swimmer is between 5½ and 8½ and seems to be doing well but wanting more, ask your coach about this program. Devo is by invite or evaluation only. Please contact Kendra if you would like your child evaluated for this program. Cost: 3X per week - $236; 2X per week - $183
